I can't encourage you all enough to go out and buy this book http://bodyimagebook.com/index.htm by Rosanne Olson.  I went to watch her speak last night at our college.  She is an amazing person and really has inspired me.

it seems like yesterday for me.  i can remember it so vividly.  i remember my mom calling me, waking me up and telling me to turn the tv on, the tv on shannon turn the tv on.  the images didn't look real.  you grab your loved ones and you hold on tight, thanking god you have them and praying for families that might not be so lucky.  then one fell, i couldn't believe my eyes.  then the other.  I remember feeling so sorrowful, I remember feeling so angry. a lot of things changed that day.  it's just too bad that we had seven more years of bush to completely fuck things up. we will all remember in our own way that much is true.  my heart and p
